Wills Service

Wills Service

Overview

Epoq's Wills Service represents a major step forward in the delivery of do-it-yourself Wills, providing one of the easiest and most affordable ways to create a Will online.

Epoq Wills incorporates a range of information based on our Wills & Inheritance Tax planner. Upon completion of an easy-to-follow questionnaire, a draft Will is created for the customer, who can then take advantage of a range of auxiliary services (provided by our partners) including legal review, instructing executors and secure Will storage.

As with all of our sites, employing the latest version of our Rapidocs® document automation technology, customers have the choice of creating their Will online (with the ability to save it part way through and complete it at a later time), or downloading Rapidocs® and preparing their Will offline if that better suits their circumstances.

Services offered

Insurers & Banks

White-labelled Wills services are set up for customers, with the ability to complete them online. Additionally, full cross-selling data is provided back to the institution from Wills prepared, e.g. requirements for pet insurance, IHT policies, children's saving funds or mortgages.

Lawyer review & approval optional (for additional payment)

Comprehensive Will

Comprehensive Wills are suitable for most married or unmarried people and include Inheritance Tax provisions.

Discretionary Trust Will

Discretionary Trust Wills are suitable for married couples and those joined in a civil partnership who wish to create a discretionary trust. They may want to do this to avoid a local authority using a deceased's share in the marital home to cover the cost of long term medical or nursing care for the surviving spouse or partner after they move into long term residential care, or perhaps to ensure that gifts intended for children/grandchildren from a former relationship are received, without any danger of the surviving spouse or partner reducing the amount that these beneficiaries receive.
