Rapidocs Classic

Introduction

Rapidocs Classic is an important component of the Rapidocs® suite of software, and has been used countless times over many years in numerous different applications. It is particularly well suited to CD-ROM deployment since any number of templates may be bundled with the Rapidocs Classic installer, which means that a user may begin work on creating their documents 'straight from the box' as soon as they have installed the software.

The user interface has been deliberately constructed in such a way that no training and very little support should be required to use it. However, as with all other Rapidocs clients, novices may create complex legal documents and forms using Classic by following a set of simple instructions. Where permitted, users may edit the document, and if they wish, return it to lawyers by email for checking.

Benefits

  • Highly intuitive and easy-to-use interface
  • Mature technology used by hundred of thousands of customers
  • No additional software required - users do not even need a separate word processor
  • Web connection optional
  • Ability to securely return documents by email for authorisation if required
  • Possibility to meter template usage through a system of print credits

This shows the Rapidocs Classic Navigator which provides the user with a means to manage their documents and templates. It is designed to be highly intuitive, using a familiar Windows-style look and feel. From the Navigator a user may open, print, export, delete, or email a document from the list. They may also return a finished document to a lawyer at a predefined email address for checking and approval. The Navigator also provides information about the document or template such as the document description and properties.

This shows the Rapidocs Classic Assembler which is where the user creates their document through the question-and-answer process. The document is shown being created on the left-hand side as they answer each question. Help and guidance is provided throughout with the yellow explanation pop-ups. When the user has finished assembling the document they may edit their document (if permitted) without the need for a separate Word Processor. The document may then be exported to another format (such as RTF or MS Word) if the customer desires, and if permitted.
