Using Rapidocs® in Practice
Rapidocs® comes in a number of configurations, each of which serve a different purpose. If you're looking to offer legal documents over the web or an intranet then you would use one of the Rapidocs web clients; for CD deployment, the Rapidocs binary application is the most appropriate. If you wish to author document templates, then the Rapidocs software suite includes powerful document authoring and publishing tools. Furthermore, Rapidocs includes a flexible API, which facilitates integration with most third party systems and databases.
Rapidocs uses a single core architecture which means that a document created in one version of Rapidocs may also be opened in any of the other clients.
Deployment options
- Online – RapidocsWeb and RapidocsX are the two Rapidocs® web-clients. RapidocsWeb is primarily used for e-commerce and consumer sites, it being a simpler product to use and install. RapidocsX (ActiveX) is more feature rich and is used within intranets and call-centre systems.
- Offline – Rapidocs Classic is a compact document assembly application designed for distribution on CD-ROM offering all of the features a user requires to create and manage documents locally.
- Authoring – Rapidocs Professional and Rapidocs Solo provide the ideal document authoring environment for generating and maintaining Rapidocs digital content. 'Professional' also includes advanced document management and workflow capabilities.
